WE Hub launches first centre of excellence in Peddapalli

Hyderabad: WE Hub, the Telangana govt's nodal agency for women entrepreneurs, on Tuesday said it has launched its first centre of excellence (CoE) in Peddapalli district to strengthen entrepreneurship among women and youth. The initiative is being implemented with support from HP and the district administration.The new centre is aimed at providing skill development, incubation, digital enablement and enterprise acceleration, especially for women and young people in rural and semi-urban areas. It will offer entrepreneurship training, digital skilling, business mentoring, market linkages and innovation support aimed at turning ideas into viable businesses. Special emphasis will be placed on women-led enterprises, youth innovators and sectors such as technology-enabled services, manufacturing, creative industries and sustainable MSMEs, it saidInaugurating the new centre, IT & industries minister D Sridhar Babu said empowering women entrepreneurs and encouraging youth innovation at the grassroots were essential for building an inclusive and self-reliant Telangana. He said initiatives such as the CoE would not only create sustainable livelihood opportunities but also inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs from the districts. WE-Hub CEO Sita Pallacholla described the first centre as a key milestone in WE-Hub's plans to take entrepreneurship support deeper into the districts and would bring skilling, mentorship, networks and opportunities closer to communities.
